The family was featured in the parade and is fourth-generation, with this year as the 50th year of attending the parade. Great-grandparents are Bruce and Jane Kyburz of Sky Valley. Pictured in the center is Kendall Munoz, 5, who took Second Place in the “Georgia Quaker 400” rubber duck race with number 118 and Chelsea Munoz, 7.

Above, owned by Dr. Charlie and Yetty Arp the GARBEAU is a 1938 Gar Wood, 22-foot Triple-cockpit Forward, Streamliner. GARBEAU is one of the last five Streamliner Gar Wood boats in existence. Two other Gar Wood Streamliners also call Lake Rabun “home.”

Luke Morey/The Clayton Tribune. Just before the movie “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” began at the Tiger Drive-In on July 1, movie-goers were treated to a fireworks show. The new Indiana Jones movie also will be playing at the drive-in for the next two weekends.
