Donald Loyd Hamilton, 75 of Tiger, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021 at Winder Nursing Home and Rehab.
Born Nov. 30, 1946 in Rabun County, he was the son of the late Milford Josh Hamilton and Fairy Mae Eller Smith He worked in maintenance at Clarksville Mills. He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milford and Fairy Mae Hamilton. He is survived by a brother David and Wanda Smith of Tiger; three sisters, Janice and Chris Tatum of Clayton; Cathy and Danny White of Tiger; and Lora and Greg Parker of Clayton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The body was at Hunter Funeral Home and was taken to Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 for a visitation and service. Visitation was at the graveside from noon - 1:00 p.m. A service followed at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Rogers officiating.
The family is at their respective residences.
