Earline Carver Benefield, 77, of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming.

Born on June 3, 1944, Earline was the daughter of the late Buster Buck T. Carver and Leona Dink Thomas. She was the widow of Robert Donnie Benefield. She was a Christian by faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother Omie, and great grandmother. To her, everyone was family. She was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and a volunteer at Foxfire.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Leona Carver and her husband, Robert Benefield who passed away in 2005; a brother, John Carver; and a sister, JoAnn Chastain.

She is survived by her son, Chris Daniel (Roxanne) of Tiger; a daughter, Robbie Johnston (Doug) of Lakemont; six grandchildren, Elizabeth “Beth” Mayfield, Jamie Abernathy, Allison “Allie” Johnson, Betty Jené “BJ” Johnston, Brianna René Johnston and Briley Daniel; seven great grandchildren, Colton Pruitt, Joey Massey III, Claire Abernathy, Kevin Hopper, Caleb Abernathy, Cooper Abernathy and Skylar Johnson; eight sisters, Mary Jane (Jim) McCoy, Hilda Carver McLucas, Claudia Dodgins, Katie Woodall, Brenda “Bimbo” Gass, Phyllis Ramey, Kaye “Fatty” Collins (Dave), and Faye “Bit” Partain (Steve) also survive, along with several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Tiger Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Rogers and Pastor Tony White officiating. Burial will follow at Rabun Memory Park.

The family will receive friends at Tiger Baptist Church on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone just send their love and prayers. The family will be at the residence of Earline off of East Wolf Creek Road.
