Ethel “Gail” Beck, age 81, of Clayton, Ga., passed away in her home Thursday Dec. 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Beck; her parents Talmadge and Alene Hollifield; and sisters Elanie Speed, Sandra Matheson, and Peggy Darnell.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Gail loved her family more than anything. Her great grandchildren will remember her as the world’s best story teller. She was a natural caretaker, and always put the needs of others before herself. She loved Jesus and shared Christ’s love with many people throughout her life.
She is survived by her three children Victor Beck (Lynn), Dale Beck (Kim), Tammy Bleckley (Scott); grandchildren Charley Beck (Kim), Corey Beck (Karen) Andy Beck, Megan Coalley (Justin), Jennifer Wood (Shylan), Bryleigh Shaw (Jared), Anessa and Brandy Beck, Ariel Austin, and fourteen great grandchildren.
The family received friends Sunday Dec. 19, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home. A funeral service was held Monday Dec. 20, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Shylan Wood officiating. Interment followed in the Rabun Memory Park.
