Robert Eugene Segars, 56, of Clayton died Thursday Jan. 20, 2022, at his residence.
Born in Stephens County, Sept. 18, 1965, he was the son of Brenda Sue Blackwell and the late Grady Segars. He worked for Ingles Supermarket and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Grady Segars. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Sue Blackwell of Hartwell; two brothers, Bradley Keith of Westminster, S.C., and Gary William Riggan, Jr., of Waycross; two sisters, Kathy Segars of Lavonia, and Brenda Shuler of Pelzer, S.C.; and special companion Kimberly Elliott of Clayton.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service was held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clayton, Ga., on Monday Jan. 24, 2022, 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Raymond Page officiating. The family is at their respective residences.
