The Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences is holding its Great ARTdoors Festival from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. It will feature hayride tours of the artist-in-residence studios, offering unique visits with distinguished artists from California, Colorado, Arkansas and Georgia. There also will be live music, locally made chili, barbecue, home-baked desserts and a native plant sale. Visitors can glaze their own pottery to keep, get a poem created especially for them and see artist demonstrations. Cost is $10 for advance tickets online, $15 at the door. Children 11 and younger get in free. For more information or to order a ticket, visit www.hambidge.org.
