The Ruth Bancroft Garden makes a memorable Mother’s Day weekend with two days of garden fun.
On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11, Moms and families can enjoy a pampering day in the garden blooming with family fun:
Regular Admission: $10/adults; $7/students and seniors; free for RBG members and children under 12
Also on Sunday, May 11: a tasty Mother’s Day Tea Party. Sandwiches, seasonal fruit and assorted petite pastries from La Boulange plus freshly brewed tea. Join RBG Curator Brian Kemble on Saturday, May 10, the day before Mother's Day, for a rare peek behind the fence. Mr. Kemble will take a group through the private garden around Ruth Bancroft’s home, adjacent to the public garden. In addition to the historical lath houses and greenhouses filled with succulents, there are an astonishing variety of roses, herbs, perennials, and irises.
