The North Georgia Arts Guild meets at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, in the banquet room at Old Clayton Inn. A coffee reception begins at 9:30 a.m. Winemaker Lisa Ezzard, with Tiger Mountain Vineyards, will present the program. She taught writing and literature in California for a number of years. She also is manager of the Red Barn Cafe. Her poetry has been published in a variety of literary journals, and she is a former resident of the Hambidge Center for the Creative Arts and Sciences. She currently is completing final edits for a memoir entitled, "Going Native."
