Chastine ‘Teenie’ Ruby Moore Howell

Chastine “Teenie” Ruby Moore Howell, 93, of Clayton, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

She was born in Roswell to John William Moore and Ruby Grace Webb Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, John Lewis Howell; two brothers, Cleveland Moore and John Coral Moore; two sisters, Louise Moore and Betty Moore; and a nephew, David Moore.

She is survived by: four nephews, Bill Moore, Dennis Moore, Tony Moore and Tim Moore; and a niece, Tammy Roberts.

Mrs. Howell graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and served as a 1st lieutenant Army Nurse Corp in the European Theater during World War II. She was a member of Martha Brown United Methodist Church in Atlanta and attended Clayton First United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held April 2 in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charlie Green and Doug Volk officiating. Burial was held April 3 at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
