Dean J. Ezell, 84, of the Warwoman community, Clayton, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 in Atlanta.

He was born in Hickory, N.C., to the late Joseph and Mary Bass Ezell. He was a retired insurance administrator and was of the Unitarian Universalist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.

Survivors include: a special sister-in-law, Verena Galloway Burnette of Rabun Gap; two brothers-in-law, Lawton Galloway and Burnell Galloway, both of Clayton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The body has been cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
