Debbie Mayo Watts, 51, of Evans died Friday evening, Nov. 23, 2012, at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele.

She was born in Cordele to Voncile Crenshaw Mayo and the late Brice Bartow Mayo. She was a member of Abilene Baptist Church in Martinez. She was a systems analyst for Georgia Health Sciences University.

She is survived by: her husband, Alan Watts of Evans; a daughter, Tara Marie Watts of Evans; her mother, Voncile Mayo of Pitts; and a sister, Dianne Adkison and husband Gordon of Pitts. Alan Watts is the son of Vaughan and Jodi Watts of Tiger.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Union Baptist Church in Wilcox County. The family received friends before the service. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Debbie’s memory may be sent to Georgia Health Sciences Foundation, 1120 15th St., FI 1000, Augusta, GA 30912.
