Delilah “Dolly” Watts Pitts, 84, of Rabun Gap, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at her residence.

Born June 12, 1930, in Tiger, she was the daughter of the late Hubert D. and Ethel Baker Watts. She was the widow of John Calvin Pitts. She and Calvin lived in Lutz, Florida, for several years. She was a bookkeeper and office manager for Pepsi Cola Company in Tampa, Florida. She was a former member of ABWA, Presidents Round Table and Arts and Crafts Guild. She was a member of Rocky Grove Baptist Church.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Stewart Watts and John Daniel Watts, and by three sisters, Jane Wheeler, Evelyn Mobley and Ellen Clevenger. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley Dunegan, of Rabun Gap, one granddaughter, Christine Dunegan of Rabun Gap, and one great granddaughter, Delilah Grace Phillips, of Rabun Gap.

Funeral services were Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Rocky Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kyle Watts officiating. Burial was at the Rocky Grove Cemetery.

The family is at the home on Esco Circle, Rabun Gap. Family asks in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in her memory to Rocky Grove Baptist Church, 6900 Bridge Creek Road Tiger, Georgia, 30576, and/or Gideons International, P.O. Box 241, Clayton, Georgia 30525.
