Dorothy Ann Shaw Johnson, 74, of Clayton, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, at her residence.

She was born on Long Island, N.Y., to Arthur Shaw and Lois Crotwell Shaw. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank Gordon Johnson Sr.; and two daughters Robin Johnson and Mindy Meyer.

She is survived by: her son, Frank Gordon Johnson Jr. of Clayton; a brother, Billy Shaw of Ocala, Fla.; a grandchild, Timber Gaddis; and two great-grandchildren, Xander Gaddis and Zach Gaddis.

Mrs. Johnson loved gardening, crafts and reading. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, grandchild and great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Beck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Turpen officiating.

Donations in Dorothy Johnson’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, suite 114, Gainesville, GA 30501.
