Glenna Ardrene Wilson Jones, 62, of Mountain City, widow of Glen Jones, died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Cleveland.

She was born March 5, 1950, in Missouri to the late William Jasper and Willie Jane London Wilson. She spent most of her life in Rabun County. She was a textile worker and a member of Black Rock Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: a brother, Billy Wilson; and two sisters, Charlotte Blackwell and Betty Lockabye.

Survivors include: a son, Logan Jeffery Rogers of Toccoa; a daughter, Christine Rogers Sargent and husband Tony of Cleveland ; two brothers, Ricky Rider and Reggie Rider, both of Maysville; a sister, Regina Rider of Gainesville; three grandchildren, Allen Wade, Jessica Wade and Breanna Sargent; and her beloved and loyal dog, Chocolate.

Funeral services were held Friday at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Burrell officiating. Burial followed at Taylors’s Chapel Cemetery in Rabun Gap.
