She was preceded in death by: her parents, Joe and Samantha Speed; three brothers, Hoyt, Paul and Virgil Speed; three sisters Barbara Williams, Neal Sherin and Dottie Mason; and a daughter, Vickie Mann.
She is survived by: four sisters, Carrie Crone, Belle Taylor, Lucy Stanton and Kathryn Revis; one brother, Joe Speed; her husband of 60 years, Ken Richardson; a son, Ricky Richardson; and a very special grandson, Bradley Mann of McDonough.
Her funeral service was held Wednesday in McDonough with the Rev. Lamar Gittens officiating.
Rest in peace, Janie. We love you so much.
