Johnnie Sue Fincher Crumley, 68, of Lakemont, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, at her home.

She was born in Toccoa to the late John Hillyer and Flora Thompson Fincher Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard James Crumley.

Mrs. Crumley is survived by: her loving husband, William “Bill” David Crumley; a daughter, Lea Vonne Crumley of Lakemont; a brother, John Hillyer Fincher Jr.; two sisters, Frances Gipson of Lakemont and Nancy Sullivan of Homer; and a grandson, Ryan Allen Dixon of Lakemont.

She was a member of Wiley Presbyterian Church, a member of the Georgia Power Ambassadors, and a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.

A graveside service was held Tuesday at Crumley Family Cemetery with the Rev. Alice Wood officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wiley Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 178, Wiley, GA 30581.
