Julie Marie Teague, 55, of Clayton, passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2013.

She was born in Leesville, La., to Donald Lackey and Gail Brooks Ramey. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Donna Burrell.

In addition to her parents, Julie is survived by: her stepfather, Bobby K. Ramey; two sons, Jeremy Lackey and Wayne Burrell, both of the Warwoman community; two daughters, Brooke Kowalsky of Clarkesville and Jessica Helms of Tiger; two brothers, Taylor Ramey of Raleigh, N.C., and Sean Ramey of Clayton; a sister, Dena Norton of Martin; a loving friend, Randy Teague; and four grandchildren, Madilyn Kowalsky, Cooper Kowalsky, Ashton Lackey and Keagan Mason.

Julie was a seamstress at DonL Corporation and enjoyed horseback riding, planting flowers and spending time with her family.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Beck Funeral Home chapel Saturday with the Revs. Madison McCrackin and James Turpen officiating.

Donations may be made to the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 485, Rabun Gap, Ga., 30568, in lieu of flowers.
