He was born June 21, 1964, in Cincinnati to the late James William Coffey and Jean Darlene Kohler Coffey. He was a meat cutter at Ingles for many years. He attended Clayton Church of God.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Benard Thomas Coffey and Michael Alan Coffey.
Survivors include: his wife, Kerri Merritt Coffey of Rabun Gap; two stepsons, Arin T. Lee of Plantersville, Texas, and Shane D. Lee of Lyons, Texas; two brothers, James William Coffey Jr., of Villa Hills, Ky., and Francis Patrick Coffey of Newport, Ky.; two sisters, Virginia Frady of Clayton and Theresa Luck of Rabun Gap; and four grandchildren.
The body has been cremated, and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. Family members are at their respective residences.
