Richard Martin Hermansen, 76, of Clayton, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Mountain View Health Care.

He was born Nov. 27, 1936, in Queens, N.Y., to the late Herman and Mildred Canerossi Hermansen. He was a carpenter and was a member of the Knights of Colombus and was of the Roman Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phylis Fasano Hermansen, and his second wife, Anna Marie Hermansen.

He is survived by: a son, Michael Richard Hermansen of Clayton; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Helena Catholic Church with the Rev. Alvaro Avendano officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday at Washington Memorial Park in Patchogue, N.Y.
