Robert Buchanan, 45, of Clayton, Georgia., died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 22, 1968, to Rick and Liz McCrackin Buchanan. He was a carpenter in the building industry and was a member of the Boggs Mountain Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his parents, Rick and Liz McCrackin Buchanan of Clayton; four sons, Brandon Buchanan, Matthew Buchanan (Crystal), Cole Buchanan and Jordan Buchanan, all of Clayton; a brother, Levi Buchanan of Clayton; a grandson, Carson Buchanan of Clayton; maternal grandmother, Geneva McCrackin of Clayton and a nephew, Teigan Buchanan of Clayton.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Boggs Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe McCrackin officiating. Burial followed in the Buchanan family cemetery.
