William 'Tiny' Crone

William "Tiny" Crone, 58, of Gwinnett County and formerly of Clayton, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011.

He was born March 23, 1953, in Pontiac, Mich., to the late Lawrence William and Naomi Irene Ramey Crone. He was a Jehovah's Witness by faith and loved working on cars.

He is survived by: three brothers, Larry Crone and wife Sherry and Gary Crone and wife Terry, all of Clayton, and Terry Eugene Crone of Toccoa; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Patricia Ann Watts, Genevieve and Robert Bleckley and Loretta Hamby, all of Clayton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The body has been cremated. A memorial service was held Saturday at the Hunter Funeral Home chapel with Tom Hoy officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date at Timpson Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hunter Funeral Home, P.O. Box 653, Clayton, GA 30525, to aid with funeral expenses.
