Born in Rabun County, he leaves behind: his mother, Janice Millwood English of Simpsonville, S.C.; his father, Edward Kay Vernon English Sr. and stepmother Lucille of Clayton.
A graduate of Easley High School and Tri County Technical College, Mr. English was employed as an iron worker and was a member of the Iron Workers Association Local 387 in Atlanta. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and stepmother, are a daughter, Christian Kaye Nicole English and her mother Christina English, both of Greenville S.C.; two sisters, Katrina Morrison and husband Greg of Simpsonville and Tabitha Griggs and husband Paul of Mountain City; and his godmother, Nelle Haskett of Greenville.
