She was born in Glynn County to the late Jack Burton Justus and Mary Sara Hazelhurst Deming Justus.
Beth worked for 15 years at Tuckaluge Grocery and also was a seamstress for Clayburne Manufacturing. She was a member of Battle Branch Baptist Church. She loved her animals and thoroughly enjoyed crocheting, reading, her church and watching “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and John Wayne movies. Her children were the center of her life.
Mrs. Wilbanks is survived by: two sons, Thurston Eugene Wilbanks Jr. and wife Barbara of Tiger and Peter Kelly Wilbanks of Clayton; a daughter, Angela Kerry Wilbanks and companion Scott Waldron of Clayton; a sister, Carol Ann Justus Defoor and husband Dale of Toccoa; a granddaughter, Ashley Lynette Wilbanks and boyfriend Kenneth Queen of Clayton; and a great-grandson, Kalab Michael Queen.
The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. today at Beck Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 p.m. in the Beck Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Madison McCrackin officiating.
