Franklin Walter Beacham

Franklin Walter Beacham, 75, of Tiger, died Monday, July 30, 2012 at Mountain View Health Care in Clayton.

He was born on Nov. 22, 1936, in Gaston, Tenn. to the late Walter and Anna Louise MacCrosson Beacham. He was a nature photographer and served in the U.S. Navy between Korea and Vietnam era and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Franklin was preceded in death by a son, U.S. Army Spc. Mark Edward.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Lillian Diane Beacham; a daughter, Stacey Hill of Richmond, MI.; a sister, Doris Higgins of Charleston, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Connor, Deven and Autumn Hill.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Boggs Mountain Baptist Church, Rev. John Clark officiating. Friends may visit with family after the service until 4 p.m.
