Funeral services for Dorothy J. Cox Huggins, 67, of the Batesville Community, will be held at 2 p.m. today, Sept. 5, at Providence Baptist Church with Dr. Don Drawdy officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Huggins died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2012, at her residence.

Born Sept. 10, 1944, she was the daughter of the late George and Ella Mae Marr Cox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Elaine Langston, Lou Ella Echols and Suzanne Everett, and brother, Tommy Cox.

Mrs. Huggins was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, John M. Huggins of the Batesville Community; daughters, Tracy Osborn and Tangie Burks; son, John Alex Huggins; and mother-in-law, Naomi Huggins of the Batesville Community.
