Devin Dewayne Marcus, 37, of Tiger, died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at Mountain View Health Care.

He was born Feb. 7, 1975, in Stephens County to Hastel Dave Marcus of Tiger and Minnie Lou Green Marcus of Clayton. He was an inspector in the textile industry with Parkdale Mills. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his parents, Hastel and Charlene Marcus of Tiger and Minnie Green Marcus of Clayton; a son, Bryant Dominque Marcus of Cornelia; two brothers, Darion Dave Marcus of Clayton and David Lester Marcus of Tiger; his grandmother, Helen Burrrell Green of Clayton; a special friend, Tamara Bryson of Clayton; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Hunter Funeral Home with the Revs. Jason Smith and Mike Wilson and layman Lloyd Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Rabun Memory Park.

The body is at Hunter Funeral Home, where the family received friends from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday. The family is at the home of his mother, Minnie Marcus, on Dunlap Street.
