He was born Oct. 26, 1958, in Liberty County to Clifford E. Conner and Carolyn Darnell Conner. He was a chef and a member of Newman Chapel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Darnell Conner Hicks.
Survivors include: his father and stepmother, Clifford and Margie Conner of Clayton; three brothers, Harvey Conner and wife Susan of Otto, N.C., and Marty and Robbie Conner, both of Rabun Gap; nieces, Kate and Anna Conner; nephews, Evan Conner and Jonathan York; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends.
The body has been cremated, and a memorial service was held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Wolffork Christian Fellowship Church with officiating by the Rev. Ray Conner.
