Jason Dee Speed, 29, of Clayton, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.

He was born Nov. 13, 1982, in Stephens County to John D. Speed Jr., and Billie Ann Harmon. Jason was a shipping clerk at A.I.D. Company and owned and operated PWR Wrestling at the Georgia Mountain Flea Market. He was of the Methodist faith.

Jason was preceded in death by: a sister, Amanda Deann Speed; and his grandparents, Bill Harmon, John D. Speed Sr. and Myrtle Page Speed.

Survivors include: his parents, John Dee Speed Jr. of Clayton and Billie Ann and Tony Diaz of Cornelia; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Ledbetter Harmon of Clayton (in the home where he was reared); and a brother, Justin Henslee.

Funeral services were held Monday at Antioch United Methodist Church in the Warwoman community with the Revs. Raymond Page and Ronia Hunter officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
