Charlotte Cook, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed into heaven early Friday morning, April 26, 2013, following an extended illness at her residence in Odessa, Texas.

Charlotte was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Frankfurt, Germany, and moved to America in 1962. She became a U.S. citizen in 1989. After 15 years traveling full time as founders of Sounds of Glory, a gospel music ministry, Gary and Charlotte then answered the call to foreign missions, traveling throughout the United States speaking and fundraising to support orphans, bible colleges and humanitarian aid efforts.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Gary; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Cook; sons-in-law and daughters, Craig and Sissie DeArmond and Mark and Carol Holloway; and a daughter, Ginny Sue Hart. Gary and Charlotte were blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Gary and Charlotte served Eastern Europe as missionaries of the Lord Jesus Christ through their organization, Save the Humans International Ministries, the staff of which continues its work in Belarus and Lithuania today.

Visitation was held Sunday at Latter Rain Worship Center in Odessa. Services were be held Monday at Latter Rain Worship Center.

Mrs. Cook will also have visitation from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today at Beck Funeral Home. A chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Buriall will follow at Tallulah Falls Cemetery on Rock Mountain Road in Tallulah Falls. Memorial donations can be made to: Save the Humans International Ministries, P.O. Box 12367, Odessa TX 79768.

Odessa Funeral Home and Beck Funeral Home in Clayton are in charge of services.
