Peter Anthony “Pete” Foster, 54, of Otto, N.C., went to sleep in the arms of the Lord in the early morning of Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, after a brief illness.

Pete was a wonderful loving husband, father and “pop pop” as well as a good friend to many. He was proud owner and operator of A/C and D/C Electric, loved the outdoors, hunting and the beauty of nature. He will be missed and treasured by many.

Pete was preceded in death by his mother, Estella.

Survivors include: his wife and soulmate, Jean; a daughter Jodi; two sons, Michael and Dakota; a granddaughter, Elizabeth; his father, Joe; his brother, Justin; two sisters, Theresa and Felice; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday at St. Helena Catholic Church. Burial followed at Wesley Memorial Cemetery in Rabun Gap. A memorial reception was held afterward at Woodmen of the World lodge in Dillard.
