William ‘Bill’ David Seddon Sr.

William “Bill” David Seddon Sr., 75, of Clayton, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013.

He was born in Anderson, S.C., to the late Howard Thomas and Lucille Vineyard Seddon.

Bill moved to Rabun County in 2005, coming from Gwinnett County, and was a veteran of the National Guard. He was employed as a computer analyst for AT&T for many years. Bill was a member of the First Families of Tennessee, Sons of the American Revolution and Sons of the Confederate Veterans. He was of the Baptist faith and was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Bill is survived by: his loving wife, Donna Darnell Seddon of Clayton; three sons, William David Seddon Jr. of Pahrump, Nev., Stephen Howard Seddon of Lancaster, Calif., and Phillip Allen Seddon of Ontario, Calif.; a daughter, Kelli Seddon Bosler of Lilburn; a brother, Thomas Howard Seddon of Roanoke, Va.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Beck Funeral Home chapel with Paul Seddon officiating.

The family requests no flowers, and asks that anyone wishing to, may make donations in William David Seddon’s memory to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852-3914.
