Louise Henslee, 70, of Clayton, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Mountain View Health Care in Georgia. She was the widow of Frank V. Henslee Jr., who died in 1992.

She was born July 28, 1943, in Rabun County to the late Lex and Bertha Holcomb Welborn. She was a homemaker and a member of Black Rock Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Carlton Welborn.

Survivors include: a son, Franklin Henslee (Rita) of Clayton; three daughters, Brenda Henslee Phillips (David) and Laverne Hopkins, both of Clayton, and Donna Bramblett (Mike) of Habersham County; three sisters, Lillian Queen of Dublin, Naomi McClain of Rabun Gap and Lenora Robinson of Tiger; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Houston officiating. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and David Phillips on Autumn Lane in Clayton.
