Robert Terry Freeman, 61, of Danielsville, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.

He was born in Athens to the late George Thomas and Susie Brooks Freeman and was preceded in death by grandchildren, Harley and Savannah Freeman. He was a machinist, having worked for Food Machinery Sales and was a member of Ila Volunteer Fire Department. Terry attended Galilee Holiness Church.

Survivors include: his wife, Pam Freeman; children, Chad Freeman of Ila and Shane Treadwell and Sam Treadwell, both of Danielsville; brothers, Tommy Freeman and David Freeman, both of Ila; a sister, June Beale of Rabun Gap; grandchildren, Danielle and Jade Treadwell and Taylor and Trey Freeman; and a large extended family.

Graveside services were held Sunday at Ila Cemetery.

Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Ila Volunteer Fire Department.
