Lenora Welborn Robinson, 73, of Tiger, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

She was born Feb. 26, 1940, in Rabun County to the late Lex and Bertha Holcomb Welborn. She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist church.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jack P. Robinson; a brother, Carlton Welborn; and a sister, Louise Henslee.

Survivors include: a son, Billy Robinson of Rutherfordton, N.C.; four daughters, Lynn Garrison of Demorest, Gail Girvan of Holytown, Scotland, Jacqueline Craven of Clarkesville and Susie Justus of Lakemont; two sisters, Lillian Queen of Dublin and Naomi McClain of Rabun Gap; seven grandchildren, Chris Scott, Nicole Fortenberry, Ashley Bogue, Julia Burton, Jamie Burton, Elaina Cochran and Cpl. Austin Franklin, who is stationed in Afghanistan; five great-grandchildren, Tristin Helton, Gracie and Garrett Fortenberry, Lanie Bogue and Samuel Cochran.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the new chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Revs. Raburne Wilson and Kyle Watts officiating. Layman Lloyd Hunter conducted graveside services at Shook Cemetery in the Bridge Creek community.
