Richard Lloyd ‘Dick’ Foster

Richard Lloyd “Dick” Foster, 91, of Pinson, Ala., and formerly of Clayton, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2014.

He served as an Army medic during World War II and participated in the battle of Luzon in the Philippines. Mr. Foster and his wife, Dorothy, resided in Clayton from 1989 to 2001. They were active members of King Memorial Community Church in Persimmon Valley where they both served as elders.

Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers and a sister.

He is survived by: three daughters; a son; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert H. Foster of Clayton.
