CLAYTON—Parks, parking and streetscape improvements are among the highlights of the new Downtown Master Plan for the city of Clayton.

The plan, which is being prepared by the consulting firm TSW hired by the city, is about 80 percent complete.

It was presented at a public forum last month at Clayton City Hall attended by about 60 people.

“This is the last moment to take a look at the plans,” said planner Julia Brodsky.

The plan is being developed using a variety of input, ranging from citizen comments to previous master plans and an existing conditions analysis.

A total of 321 local residents responded to an online survey as part of the planning process.
