DILLARD— The cities of Clayton and Dillard have taken steps to ban on-premises restaurant dining due to COVID-19 at separate emergency meetings on Monday, March 23.

However, all restaurants are allowed to stay open to serve drive-thru and curbside customers.

These bans will go into effect beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Dillard and Wednesday morning in Clayton.

Clayton city council also voted to ask businesses to limit the number of customers in their stores to one person per 100 square feet, not counting store employees.
