Barbara Hembree Bramblett, age 77, of Clayton, Ga. passed away on March 19, 2020. 

 Barbara was born the daughter to the late Arthur Hembree and Rheda Wilson Hembree on July 18, 1942 in Nantahala, North Carolina. Barbara was a Christian and was an active member of the Battle Branch Baptist Church, in Clayton, Georgia, for most of her life. She served as the treasurer and the primary class Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of the church choir and truly loved her church and all of its members. 

 Barbara was a 1961 graduate of Tamassee DAR school in South Carolina. Barbara loved to cook, and was exceptionally good at it, and she always loved to help others. 

 In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by three brothers, G.C. Hembree, Harold Hembree, Charlie Hembree and one sister, Susie Dockins.

 Her survivors include her loving husband, Floyd Bramblett, of the home; her sons, Gary Hembree (wife Kim), Richard Hembree (significant other Courtney), step-son, David Bramblett (wife Edna); her daughter, Melissa Jamison (husband Kenny); one brother, Hoyt Hembree; four sisters, Katie Moore, Joane Chappell, Melinda Matheson, Carlene Sheffield; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive her. 

 In order to protect those members of our community that are susceptible to the medical crisis that is sweeping our nation and to abide by the recommendations of the leadership of our nation and the CDC., no public services will be held at this time.

 The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to Battle Branch Baptist Church in Memory of Barbara.

 A service may be held at a later date.
