Jimmy Ford McRee, age 85, passed away Jan. 10, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1935 in Jefferson, Ga. to Ford and Doncile Veneble McRee. He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a bridge inspector. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Ola Jane Patterson McRee. Surviving him are three sons, Scott McRee of Jackson County, Ga., Mitch McRee of Jackson County, Georgia and Tony Owens of Clayton, Ga. as well as five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Jan. 14, 2020 in the East Side Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Rogers and Tony Owens officiating. Burial was in the Frady Cemetery in Clayuton, Ga.
