Julie Cunningham, 62, of Cornelia, Ga., died Sunday, July 14, 2019 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Rabun County April 6, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Floyd M. Finley and Bessie Ramey Finley. She was a homemaker and was a member of Carver’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bessie Finley and by a brother, Eulus Finley. She is survived by her companion, Danny Watts of Cornelia, Ga.; a son, Todd Cunningham of Otto, N.C.; a daughter, Tonya Cunningham of Clayton, Ga.; three brothers, Donny Finley of Clarkesvile, Ga., Joe Joe Finley of Clayton, Ga. and John Finley of Clarkesville, Ga.; four sisters, JoAnn Watts (Jackie) of Tiger, Ga., Mary Sue Parker (David) of Cleveland, Ga, Betty Sue Wilkerson (Roger) of Lakemont, Ga., Glenda Finley of Rabun Gap. GA. Five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, four stepchildren, seven step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services were held June 17, 2019 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jackie Watts officiating. Burial was in the Rabun Memory Park Cemetery, Tiger, Ga.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
