Sharon J. Shirley, 68, of Clayton, Ga., passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Tommy Shirley.
Born in Rabun County, Ga. on December 6, 1951, she was the daughter of late Prelo Justus and Jessie Faye Wall. She worked as a nurse for Pruitt Health and was of the Baptist Faith. Sharron loved her job and her family. Anyone who knew her loved her. Her compassion for her patients was unbelievable. She loved her two sons and daughter but worshiped her grandchildren. She loved all her siblings.
She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, Prelo Justus and Jessie Faye Wall, by her husband, Tommy Shirley, and a sister, Wilhelmina Justus Phillips a grandchild, Jamie Keener and three infant siblings. She is survived by sons, Prelo and Susan Justus of Clayton, Ga. and Josh and Shannon Porter of Tiger, Ga., a daughter, Dione McGhee of Phenix City, Ala., brothers, Winford and Mae Justus of Clayton, Ga., Bud-O and Diane Justus of Rabun Gap, Ga., sisters Yvonne and Calvin Cleveland of Toccoa, Ga., Gwinda Corn of Rabun Gap, Ga. and Tammy and Danny Parrish of Phenix City, Ala. Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.
The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family is at the home on Star Mtn. Dr. in Clayton, GA.
