Juanita Shope tapped to become new Rabun Chamber president

The Rabun County Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee and Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Juanita Shope has been named the new President and Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce for Rabun County, effective Nov. 1

This decision was made after the board was notified of Tony Allred’s plans to retire by the end of 2019.

Shope has been a local banker for over 30 years, and before that worked in the hospitality industry. She is well known in the community and business world and is considered a leader among her peers.
