‘Tis the season for winter holidays where families enjoy spending time together and making memories. Foxfire is committed to honoring those cherished traditions that have been passed down for generations.

A total of $13,695 was raised for the Teaching Kitchen of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and many vendors made plans to return in 2026.

For two days crowds flowed through the Rabun County Civic Center to awe at this year’s Rabun Festival of Trees and Holiday Extravaganza and the event did not disappoint. While putting the hundreds who attended in even more of a Christmas mood, the vendors were very successful on Nov. 28 and Nov.

Local nonprofit Fight Abuse In The Home (F.A.I.T.H.) advocates, empowers, prevents, and protects the victims of abuse and violence in Northeast Georgia. Its staff works tirelessly to protect society’s most vulnerable and offer trauma-informed services to all victims of abuse.

Rotarians prioritize service above self and that’s just what the Rotary Impact Club of Clayton did when it recently organized a food drive for the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. The food and fund drive was held at Walmart in Clayton on Saturday, Nov. 8.

‘Rotten Apples’ showcases collaborative creativity at TFS Middle School

Rabun County High School celebrated a long-standing tradition on Nov. 8 as it hosted the 70th Annual Miss RCHS Scholarship Pageant. The event brought together students, families, and community members to honor excellence, leadership, and school spirit.

Traffic disruptions in Clayton expected on Hwy. 441 N.

Motorists should expect intermittent traffic delays on Highway 441 North in Clayton at Pinnacle Drive and Clayburne Street from now through Dec. 11, as Georgia Power Transmission will begin work setting new power poles, removing existing poles and installing new overhead wires.
