Enoch Autry/The Clayton Tribune. On Black Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29, crowds of people made their way to the Rabun County Civic Center for the 2025 Rabun Festival of Trees and Holiday Extravaganza. A total of $13,695 was raised for the Teaching Kitchen of the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and many vendors made plans to return in 2026.

Motorists should expect intermittent delays on Highway 441 in Clayton at Pinnacle Drive and Clayburne Street through Dec. 11, as roadwork for Phase II in the widening project is underway. A crane will be on site for power pole lifting and replacement. Motorists will notice orange cones, signage and equipment in the area.
