Eric Nease, engineer for the city of Clayton, addresses council members about fixing a slope on Shadyside Dr. that resulted from damage sustained in the storm back in late March, at Tuesday’s city council meeting. Nease said that the slope has started endangering the road infrastructure and should be fixed immediately. City officials will vote on an emergency declaration next week to speed-up the repair process.
