Saturday’s sudden snow storm affected more than drivers on local roads. FAITH’s (Fight Abuse in the Home) 22nd Annual Sweetheart Ball was cancelled for the first time in its history.   Months of preparation went into planning the ball that expected 340 guests.

Snow day in Rabun

Rabun County experienced the first significant snowfall of the new year last Friday. The white stuff began falling shortly after daybreak. Schools were dismissed early as some areas of the county received approximately 3 inches of accumulation.
