Rabun WWII vet Causey passes away

Dr. Eldred Wayne Causey lived a long life that was filled with protected citizens worldwide and pets back in Georgia. At the age of 101, Causey passed away on Sept. 5, at his residence with his daughter Kathy Causey by his side.

MedLink property rezoned for multi-specialty healthcare

The approval of a zoning change for MedLink by the Clayton City Council will allow the multi-specialty healthcare facility to house its services under one roof.

Voters gearing up the elections in 2026 converged on Clayton on Sept. 13 for a group of Republican candidates for the 9th District and statewide at the Rabun County Civic Center Pavilions for a 2025 Low Country Boil.

Tallulah Falls reduces speed camera hours

Many drivers in the state of Georgia have a pretty common pet peeve: school zone cameras. Some motorists and many in the law enforcement and school safety sectors advocate for the cameras, especially since the revenues generated from mailed tickets go directly to school safety initiatives.
