County passes $31.4 million projection

Rabun County Commissioners passed the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 budget in the amount of $31,494,828 during a special called meeting on Tuesday, June 24. The meeting was prior to the regularly scheduled work session and meeting.

Sid Weber annual July 4 BBQ tix going fast

Tickets for the Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund Charity Annual Barbeque are selling quickly and interested parties are urged to purchase immediately. The BBQ will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5, in conjunction with the City of Sky Valley’s Independence Day Celebration.
