Submitted. The Orianne Society out of Tiger, Ga. has been tracking and researching Spotted Turtles extensively across the Southeast since 2014. It recently uncovered a previously unknown population of the elusive and imperiled Spotted Turtle (Clemmys guttata) in southern Georgia.

Hundreds of people attended the Rotary Club of Clayton Run for the Roses event held at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia on Saturday, May 3, to help raise money for youth services in Rabun County. The event featured auctions, dancing, dining and dapper attire as well as a live telecast of the 151st Kentucky Derby.
