It was a spectacular night on the stage for the North Georgia Community Players (NGCP) as the theater celebrated its 25th anniversary with “A Night on Broadway” Gala event Saturday, April 26.

‘Ignite Faith’ sparks fun and fellowship in Rabun

“Ignite Faith,” a Christian fellowship program within the 501c3 nonprofit Mountain Learning Enrichment, Inc., is housed at the Mountain City Playhouse, Mountain Learning Enrichment (MLE) as it focuses on bringing life enriching activities to all in a safe, family-centered environment.

Hatchett addresses multiple legislative issues

School safety and student use of cell phones were a few of the issues addressed by state legislators in the 2025 session. But the one Stephens County legislators said they spent the most time on was Gov. Brian Kemp’s impetus on tort reform that could impact insurance premiums and lower those costs.
