Northeast Georgia 1 Million Cups launching March 26 in Clayton

Connections are important in the business world and entrepreneurs especially need a space where they can share ideas and support one another. Rabun County and surrounding counties now have that opportunity with the launch of Northeast Georgia 1 Million Cups on Wednesday, March 26, at 9 a.m.

Rabun County Primary rewarded as Title I Distinguished School

DEMOREST, Ga. – In an ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of its community, Piedmont University will conduct its annual comprehensive mass casualty drill on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Rabun FFA Livestock exhibitors get results at state

The Rabun County FFA Livestock Program ended the Winter Show Season last week after showing at the 2025 State Livestock Show, held from Feb. 19-22 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Ga.

Teamwork on Cleanup Day at Stekoa Creek Park

Headwaters Master Gardeners, Boy Scout Troop 6, Chattooga Conservancy and other Clayton citizens who are interested in native plants helped on Cleanup Day workday at Stekoa Creek Park on Sunday, March 2. They continued to remove invasive species including ivy, kudzu, privet, etc.
